Get a hands-on overview how to simulate EMC behaviour of a PCB from start to finish in our live workshop. You will see how the PCB layout is imported from Altium/Cadance/Zuken into the 3D simulation tool CST and investigated for radiated emissions.

About this Event

In the opening session the focus will be on the benefits and possibilities of EM simulation. By improving your product development workflow, performing more simulation activities, you can achieve a more cost effective, sustainable, and efficient workflow.

Simulations can be used to help estimate and reduce risk while evaluating design concepts, but also add value later in development process as an efficient fault-finding process as you can visualize the radiation of the electromagnetic fields while performing step-by-step changes. In the following workshop we’ll show how to easily get started with simulations in CST Studio Suite by doing a step-by-step example on how to perform EM simulations to reduce the risk of having problems due to radiated emissions.

We’ll also go through some important features that have recently been added to CST Studio Suite.

Topics Covered

  • Benefits of performing more EM simulations
  • How to work to minimize risk in electronics development
  • Workshop in CST Studio Suite: Reducing the risk of radiated emission problems
  • New features in CST Studio Suite
